Welcome
to my home page, my name is Gaurishankar Krishnan [Shanks for short].
After completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science and working for the better part of four years as a Software Engineer, I became intrigued by User Experience and Human Factors. This interest ultimately led to a second Master's in Human Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech [...go jackets!].
I now work as a Senior Consultant specilazing in Information Architecture at Roundarch Inc a former subsidiary of the Deloitte Consulting Group.
My interests range from Information Visualization, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing and impact of User Experience on deep system design on one hand, and the unique HCI challenges in developing countries on the other.
