Welcome! My name is Gaurishankar Krishnan. Most folks prefer calling me 'Gauri' or 'Shanks' for short.
After completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science and working for the better part of four years as a Software Engineer, I became intrigued by User Experience and Human Factors. This interest ultimately led to a second Master's in Human Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech [...go jackets!].
I'm gainfully employed as a User Experience Lead / Architect and Manager at Roundarch Inc a former subsidiary of the Deloitte Consulting Group.
My interests range from Information Visualization, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing and impact of User Experience on deep system design. I'm also facinated by the unique HCI opportunities afforded by and problems faced when designing ICT solutions for development [sometimes also called HCI4D].
